《Dying In The Sun》是爱尔兰乐队Cranberries在专辑《Bury the hatchet》(言归于好)中的格调最为舒缓抒情的一首。
1999年4月27日，Cranberries在北约发动对南联盟空袭战争后的第31天推出了它第4张专辑《Bury the hatchet》(言归于好)。“Bury the hatchet”作为固定习惯用语，当译为“言归于好”。但此时此刻，字面的理解“埋葬战斧”恐怕更能表达所有接受它的听众所自然引起的心理印证。客观地讲，这张专辑的创作本意和这场突如其来的战争没有太大的直接联系，历时三年的创作和录制，镌刻的是那个蓄满纷争忧虑的国土上，柔弱的音乐团体所发出的最昂扬声音，但今天这种声音恰恰代言了疯狂战争之下的恐惧与哀难。

表面看《Dying In The Sun》是以一个恋人的口气唱出来的，纯爱情歌曲。但是它决非简单的恋人的诉衷。正如Cranberries一贯的主题一样，它带着爱尔兰人苦涩的人生体验与对和解独特的理解和阐述。《Dying In The Sun》用爱尔兰人忧伤的目光传达了塞尔维亚人迷惑、仇恨、焦虑和期盼的神情。而这恰是它的主题所在。歌中反复吟唱着那句“Like dying the sun,like dying in the sun。”是无望中的人最绝望最无助的声音——不知所措——无力还击——Like dying in the sun...................Like dying in the

某一种乐队在你身边始终只有少数人知道，类似秘密会社，成员加入的速度极为缓慢，社团始终打不响知名度。但你不特别担心社团停止成长或脚步停滞，每当与人谈起，你总是暗自窃喜，默默骄傲，甚至希望社团一直维持这种规模就好。 知道的人多了会降低它的神秘感。
好东西要与更多人分享，这句话在秘密会社是不适用的。
Kent就是这样一组乐队.Kent始终是迷雾里的乐队，我们拨开好几层纱还是看不透他。来自瑞典，先天的语言屏障使Kent与英语系国家（或依赖英语资讯的其他地区）总是处著隔阂,官方网页也一概是瑞典文，我们很难深入了解什么。Swiss rock?如果有这么一个名字，Kent应该是其中之一吧，简单的吉他，厚重的鼓点儿，缓慢的节奏配上主唱慵懒又带着灵性的声音。

非主流在本土的直接定义多半只是指群众的数量，和其专辑的销量，甚至只是一种商业手法的称号而已。形象永远是被边缘化的，是小众的玩意儿。而外界对非主流音乐的印象就是神经亏亏，异类..不安全甚至带点毁坏，而且大凡带有政治性的，对抗性，颠覆性的，都被本地乐评人归纳为另类音乐。主流音乐才是一个正常人才应该接触。这就是我们时常说的“从众行为”，一种为了争取认同感，使自己处于一个团体里，藉此无数人的投射作用，给自己创造伟大感的幻觉。

八十年代中期重金属就曾经挤入主流乐坛的浪潮，在各大主流音乐排行榜都有它们的痕迹。可是，也不见得所有的重金属都属于流行的，主流的，艺术重金属(prog metal, art metal)的出现就是最好的证明。然而，当现今的本地华裔听众看到长发披肩的，满身纹身，穿金带环的，就觉得他们很另类，又是一种商业手法，对于整个音乐环境来说，这不只是一个名词上的错误，而是品位和对音乐认知的差异，我们甚至可以说是一种严重的落后。

    这种情况造成乐队，或音乐人在考虑音乐取向的时候，不知觉地把群众，销量等次等问题纳入考量之中，耽误了整个音乐历程。一个音乐人应该把精神放在“音乐创作”上，而不是把时间都浪费在“品牌创造”。音乐人在如此扭曲的大环境里头，渐渐就会掉入主流与另类音乐的两极化，那要达到如欧美音乐如此的百花盛放，就显得更遥遥无期。

    反观欧美对非主流音乐的定义却专注在音乐的独特性，创新手法，呈现的方式，更深入些的会研讨许多哲理思想，音乐理论，艺术形态，在音乐领域里，另类音乐能得到较高的定位，尽管如此，它却不会和主流音乐之间出现太大的对立，因为欧美对音乐掌握成熟，也能公平地对待每一种音乐类型，加上国外群众有较高的消化与接纳的能力，所以每一种音乐类型都有它们的生存空间。那主流与非主流的正确定义只是在于用什么样的态度与精神去对待音乐，而不是多人支持的就是主流，没人欣赏的就是非主流.......

本来想把这首歌放在第一的，可考虑到怕吓得一些朋友从此之后不再碰这张帖子，所以选了一首大家都熟悉的Dying In The Sun，我知道第一印象是很重要的。

我说怕吓倒人，并不是说它不好，而是发现它很好，喜欢上它需要时间！

A Night At The Opera（歌剧院之夜）是QUEEN乐队最为经典的专辑，乐队为这张专辑的制作耗费了巨大的精力，有报道称这是摇滚乐史

上制作费用最高的一张专辑。其中著名的单曲也就是我今天推荐的这首Bohemian Rhapsody （波西米亚狂想曲）成了QUEEN的招牌曲目，在酷似歌剧唱诗般的华丽配乐中不断加入大段的重金属吉他riff和solo，这正是QUEEN的典型风格。这首单曲在英国排行榜上迅速升到冠军的

本来我听的是Lady and Bird版本的，那个版本显得很平静、淡然，还有一丝淡淡的忧伤、寂寞和绝望，我是很喜欢的，哀而不伤，
有可能是听了很多遍那个版本的了，当我第一次听到这个版本的时候，感到一股阴森森的鬼气，从心底涌出一股绝望，
像看恐怖片一样让我感到害怕，事实上这个版本确实是[女巫布莱尔2]中的曲子，我没看过这不电影，
但一看它的海报就知道就算不是恐怖片，也相差不远了。
Marilyn Manson乐队是近年哥德摇滚的杰出典范。
Marilyn Manson既是一支来自佛罗里达的乐队的名称,又是该乐队主音歌手的名字

LZ不必介意是不是主流的啊,喜欢就好.字典里摇滚就被全定义成了西方流行音乐啊.不过最好说Nirvana是grunge吧,这样punk的领域可能会更纯粹一些.
    the cranberries早已经被封为中国的主流,post punk也被green day带的满大街晃了.现在音乐真是百家争鸣啊,呵呵.
我现在不管跑到自己认为哪个偏僻的音乐角落是都会发现其实大家早就在那里了.

对于这个他们大家应该比较熟悉了，不错，他们就是06年世界杯主题曲的演唱者。
有的朋友会说这首个算不上非主流，我个人认为，他们在这首歌中，把美声加入了流行乐中，应该算另类，姑且就算非主流算了，嘿嘿

这首歌让人感觉在听歌剧，感情宣泄得淋漓尽致，不信的话你可以把它送给你情爱的妈妈，可能她不懂英语，但她会懂这首歌以及歌中的赤子之心的。
